MILLING MACHINES
FW-110 Bottom spindle milling-machine - with tilting spindle
The FW-110 single-spindle vertical milling machine is designed for machining of solid wood and wood-based materials, e.g. chipboards. It is used for machining of the edges of rectilinear elements and for making grooves, notches, pins, mortise, fingers and other shapes at the ends of friezes, slats, planks, etc.
The machining of short, very long elements, curvilinear edges or performing other non-standard works requires the use of special equipment necessary for safety reasons. This tooling must cover the tool sufficiently and ensure that the material is guided securely to prevent from kickback or ejection.
Characteristics :
– the headstock assembly is tilted on a cradle,
– a spindle with an inclined axis can machine wide edges or complex profiles on triangular slats (quarter rounds),
– a stable all-round machine tool for professionals,
– many adjustments, solid construction, precise rolling guide,
– a massive cast table and the same cast iron side tables provide reliable supports over a length of 2100mm. The working width is increased by the steady rest retractable by 600mm.
